Market SMS Notifications
General guidelines for Market SMS Notifications:
- You must subscribe using the below procedure in order to receive SMS or email notifications for unassigned or unread (and not assigned to you) messages
- If you are the assigned operator in a conversation, you will receive a notification, regardless of your access to the SMS gateway the conversation resides in.
- Be sure to update your notification preferences in the notifications section, as well as each individual SMS gateway
Updating your preferences in account settings:
This is where you will let Market know how to send you your notifications for Market SMS. You may receive them by text message or email.
- Go to your profile in Market

- Select “Manage Notifications”

- Select “Account Preferences” to add your cell phone number for notification via text message. You can access it from either of the two areas indicated below.

- Enter your cellphone number, and select “Save Details”

- Scroll down until you reach the “SMS” section. Ensure your preferred method of email or SMS is selected. There is no save needed on this screen.

- For SMS conversation notifications, begin by going to the SMS Gateways (click below). From there you will see a little bell icon. Click that to go to the SMS chat notification settings

Once you've clicked on the bell you will be able to choose the notifications you'd like to recieve.
